Cylinder storage : Cylinders should be stored in dry conditions and away from any heat sources, such as a radiator or prolonged exposure to direct sunlight through a window.

Cleaning the filter : In cases where the equipment is used intensively it is recommended to clean the filter located in the cylinder connector with a dry brush (e.g. toothbrush).

Maintenance of kits and accessories : The pistols, flexible tubing and kit casing should be cleaned using hospital standard cleaning products such as alcohol

Precautions for use:

- Follow the safety recommendations for the storage and handling of the CO2 gas cylinders
- For kits without a trolley, attach the wall mount and secure the cylinder by use of the chain
- Recharge the battery regularly
- Should the kit be out of use for a prolonged period, shut the gas cylinder off and turn the on/off switch to the ‘O’ position.
